A couple of years ago, I had a stroke and spend a few weeks in hospital in Margate learning to walk again and generally get back on track.
It took about six weeks to learn to walk again and now I am pretty much ok although my left leg is a little slow still and my right hand has permanent pins and needles.
But I am so lucky! Every day I see people who have to put up with more difficulty in their lives than I had, even at the worst times. I am very lucky.
If I could do it, I would help everyone.

Even at age 99, James Lovelock has a really active intelligence and his brain is constantly producing new ideas and perspectives on humanity. I hope my brain is still functioning as well has his when I get to half his age. What a great book 🙂
